Can Jou, a Rural hotel

Can Jou is a “home away from home” 11th Century farmhouse which has been converted into a rural hotel. It lies tucked away in the Catalonian hills with breathtaking panoramic views over the Pyrenees. It offers the warmest climate of all the Pyrenean range, in an almost unknown corner of Spain, once discovered never forgotten.

The house dates back to AD 1000 when it was a stopping off point for travellers crossing the Pyrenees.

It has been beautifully restored by Michael and his wife Rosi to provide a very welcoming and comfortable stay.

Can Jou has a feeling of space and comfort with beautiful views on all sides. These can be enjoyed from the privacy of your bedroom’s own terrace or from one of the many terraces and galleries around the house.

Swim in our pool, or just relax on the hillside above the main house. Good swimming and great sun-bathing.
